A.One of the cofounders of OXYPROS PLUS past away suddenly in 2009. We all miss Bob terribly. He was a kind and generous man. He was loved by his coworkers and patients alike. So, we have began a program after his passing called "Bob's Closet". We will then distribute this equipment to patients in need who are not fortunate enough to have insurance.

Q.How can I check to see if I am getting any oxygen out of my concentrator?
A.The best way to check to see if there is oxygen flow from your concentrator is it fill a clear glass half full with water and submerge your cannula in the glass and check for bubbles. If you do not see bubbles or are unsure in any way you should call OxyPros Plus.
Q.My concentrator is beeping what should I do?
A.You concentrator will alarm for several reasons. The best thing t do when your concentrator alarms is to call OxyPros Plus. We will talk you through a series of steps to rule out several common problems and easy to repair issues
Q.My concentrator is not alarming but I am not getting any oxygen flow out of my cannula, what causes that?
A.Chances are you have just filled your humidifier bottle and you have cross threaded the top. This will create a leak at the water bottle (humidifier). These machines are designed to alarm if there is a problem within the mechanics of the concentrator. If your humidifier bottle is leaking, the concentrator is working fine, so there will be no alarm. You should first verify there is no flow from the cannula. If there is no flow from the cannula, unscrew the top of the water bottle (humidifier) and reattach making sure the top is not cross threaded when reattaching. Please see videos for a demonstration. Air will leak out of the cross threaded humidifier bottle and therefore reducing significantly the air flow out of the cannula.
Q.What is this big tank on wheels for?
A.This tank is generally called an E tank. This tank is to be stored in case of an emergency or power failure. This E tank will last approximately 5 hours using a continuous flow regulator and set at 2 liters per minute (LPM).
Q.My little tank in the bag does not work what is the problem?
A.First make sure the Oxygn tank is not empty. Second make sure the take toggle is turned on. Third make sure the regulator is set on the appropriate liter flow i.e. 1,2,3. Now, remember the little tank in the bag has a demand regulator on it. It will only release oxygen when you demand it or breath in. Your inspiratory effort will trigger the regulator to release oxygen. This regulator will conserve the oxygen in the tank to give you about 4 hours of use on a liter flow of 2 LPM.
